1. We listen, then we look
You tell us what it's doing — the noise, the light, when it happens. Then the car goes on the lift so we can see it for ourselves.
Most frustration at a repair shop comes from the same place — being asked to approve something nobody explained. We work the other way around. We find out what's actually wrong, tell you what we found in plain language, and let you decide what happens next.

You tell us what it's doing — the noise, the light, when it happens. Then the car goes on the lift so we can see it for ourselves.
A trouble code tells you where to look, not what to replace. We trace it back to the actual fault before anyone talks about parts.
What we found, what it costs, what happens if you wait, and what can safely be left for next time. Then you decide — nothing is done unapproved.
Quality parts, torqued to spec, road-tested before it's handed back. If something isn't right afterwards, bring it straight back to us.
Some things need doing today. Some can wait six months. We'll always tell you which is which, even when it means less work for us.
You talk to the person who worked on your car — not a service writer relaying a message from someone in the back.
Why it matters
None of that is inevitable. It's just what happens when a shop treats you as a transaction instead of a neighbor who'll be back in six months.
You get a call with what we found, what it costs, and what happens if you wait. Then you decide. Nothing gets done that you didn't approve.
Plenty of shops replace whatever part the scanner points at. If you've got a noise nobody can place, a light that keeps coming back, or a dealer estimate that doesn't add up, that's the work we like most. And if a job genuinely belongs somewhere else, we'll tell you where to take it.
If we open something up and find a second problem, the car stops and the phone rings. You'll never collect a car and discover work on the invoice you didn't agree to.
If something isn't right after a repair, bring it back and we'll make it right. That's a lot easier to promise when the same people have been on this corner for 25 years.
Remodeled, with free Wi-Fi, a TV, and a coffee bar. If you'd rather not wait, Coolidge Square is right outside the door — breakfast, lunch, and a bakery all within a block.
Come by
Walk-ins and scheduled work are both welcome, six days a week. If you'd rather just talk it through first, call us — you'll get a straight answer either way.
